‘Vasudha’ is a well-known Hindi literary quarterly magazine that collects short stories, poetry, essays, memoirs, ghazals, and other works of literature. The magazine was designed in part to act as a bridge for Canadian Indians between the land of their birth and their new adopted home. In addition, Vasudha provides a representative celebration of the abundant Hindi literary talent that exists in both nations. Authors who contribute to Vasudha hail from across the globe and are internationally recognized as outstanding members of their respective communities. The magazine’s readership ranges from the youth and adults to present and former High Commissioners and Ambassadors of India in Canada, and other nations, and continues to grow, thanks to exposure graciously provided by numerous universities and public libraries across Canada.
The objective behind its publication is to promote Hindi Language among all Indians and Non-Indians who are residing abroad. It is a reflection of our national heritage and voices the thoughts of many experienced and up coming writers. Vasudha is a celebration of Hindi literary talent that exists universally and unites everyone with a common bonding of thrive for reading authentic literature.
